Log out
This will close your Dovetale session and exit you out of all patient charts

Secure

Press the Epic button at the top left > select Secure (or type Alt + S in sequence)

• This provides a lock screen instead - after typing your login info, return to your patient charts the way you left it

• This is helpful if you need to step away from your computer only briefly

Go to Patient Lists > select the ☆ at the top right

In the Patient Lists screen, find Available Lists in the bottom left corner > navigate to your desired list > RIGHT click it and select Send to > My Patients or DRAG it up to ‘My Patients’

• Find lists by teams (GIM and specialties) in ‘System Lists’ > ‘Provider Teams’

• Find lists by units (ER, CTU, ICU, ALC) in ‘St Joseph’s’ > ‘Charlton Units’

Method 1 - Select your list in ‘My Lists’ > press Ctrl + P > select Current list

Method 2 - Select your list in ‘My Lists’ > RIGHT click any patient > select Print List

Go inside a chart > select the wrench in the top right corner for the selector screen

• RIGHT click a tab and you can mark it as 'important' - this will move it to the left side and give it a larger size, icon and customizable colour

• Pressing the magnifying glass icon shows a full list
